Order Management Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Canada; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Assist Canadian customers with purchases and repairs of mechanical seals.
• Handle customer inquiries, product recommendations, quotations, complaints, problems, and emergency calls.
• Interpret customer requirements and drawings, create orders, and compile bills of materials.
• Coordinate customer orders with Engineering, Purchasing, Assembly, Manufacturing, and Invoicing.
• Manage orders through delivery, address delays, identify returned materials, and support walk-in customers.
• Provide reliable off-hours coverage through a rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Secondary School Diploma.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience creating and processing orders and requesting quotations.
• Ability to read detailed drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AS400 or SAP.
• Mechanical Technologist or Technician College Diploma.
