Project Engineer (Fluid Handling)

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical and fluid-handling products, components, and assemblies.
• Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and specifications.
• Approve design changes, drawing releases, controlled documents, specifications, and component part numbers.
• Provide technical support and project status updates to customers, project teams, and management.
• Coordinate prototype manufacturing, testing, agency approvals, and product development activities.
• Analyze work methods, production data, test results, and performance standards to recommend design and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical and fluid-handling product design, detailed drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to use computer-aided design equipment and software and maintain controlled engineering documentation.
• Ability to evaluate test results, analyze technical data, and determine compliance with functional and performance specifications.
• Ability to communicate with customers and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, research, and management stakeholders.
