Head of Public Policy, Nordics

Location: Office-based in Copenhagen, Stockholm or Oslo; expected to work in an office 4+ days per week. Regular travel to Brussels is expected.

What you will do

• Serve as hirify.global’s primary public policy representative and spokesperson across the Nordic region.
• Build long-term relationships with regulators, government officials, NGOs, trade associations, industry partners and other stakeholders.
• Develop and execute advocacy strategies, including coalition-building and third-party engagement.
• Prepare policy analysis, legislative summaries, consultation responses, stakeholder maps and executive briefings.
• Monitor Nordic and EU regulatory developments and coordinate policy work with the Brussels Public Policy team.
• Partner with Legal, Business, Communications, Sales, Platform Integrity and Product teams to assess risks, opportunities and policy messaging.

Requirements

• Significant experience in public policy, government affairs or public affairs in the Nordic region, including senior-level advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
• Established relationships with government officials, regulators, policymakers and other relevant stakeholders across the Nordic region.
• Experience with technology and digital policy, including platform regulation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in law, economics, European studies, political science, public policy or a related field.
• Strong communication, advocacy, political judgment, decision-making and autonomous working skills.

Nice to have

• Post-graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with government, regulators or other public institutions.
• Experience with EU policy issues, EU institutions or the Brussels policy community.
• Proficiency with AI tools.
