Senior Product Manager (Product Security)

Location: Remote from Germany or another EU country; regular travel to the Berlin office is required for workshops and selected in-person collaboration sessions.

What you will do

• Review security- and privacy-critical product changes and identify risks in new feature development.
• Maintain product security documentation, including materials related to certifications.
• Conduct security audits, risk assessments, threat modelling workshops, and security awareness training.
• Own platform security controls and support SecOps implementation and maintenance.
• Oversee incident management and coordinate team members involved in incident resolution.
• Support technical due diligence, identity and access management, and security-related process documentation.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Product Security.
• Strong understanding of secure software development, threat modelling, security architecture reviews, and product security risk assessment.
• Working knowledge of cloud security, including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
• Experience with security certifications and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Knowledge of security code reviews, CVSS-based bug triage, vulnerability management, cryptography, TLS, PKI, OAuth, SSO, IAM, and OWASP Top 10.
• Willingness to undergo the S2 security check of the German Government.

Nice to have

• Security or DevOps certifications such as CKS.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, Java, Rust, or Haskell.
