Senior Cloud Security Engineer Multi-Cloud (GCP and Azure) f/m/d

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid with up to three remote workdays per week

What you will do

• Design and implement secure architectures for GCP and Azure systems, services, and applications.
• Build and maintain scalable cloud landing zones and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure cloud resources comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze cloud environments for threats using Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Google Cloud Security Command Center.
• Implement data governance and information protection with Microsoft Purview.
• Evaluate new cloud security technologies and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of GCP and Azure services, including compute, storage, and database services.
• Expertise in cloud security technologies, IAM, cloud logging, cloud monitoring, and APIs.
• Advanced experience with Terraform and strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, serverless computing, Docker, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a lean and agile environment and learn new topics quickly.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Security Engineer or equivalent.
