(Senior) Consultant Cyber Security (all genders) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, based at one of hirify.global's offices in Germany: Frankfurt, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Cologne, Berlin, Stuttgart, Munich, or Ulm. Mobile working from other EU countries, the UK, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Switzerland is available for up to 50 days per year.

What you will do

• Develop modern cybersecurity strategies and help clients embed security processes, technologies, and methods.
• Plan and implement holistic IT security architectures across technical and organizational domains.
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, analyze risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strengthen security awareness through targeted initiatives and support secure IT transformation.
• Contribute to cybersecurity business development through networking, knowledge sharing, and trusted client relationships.
• Develop a specialization and deepen expertise across diverse cybersecurity consulting projects.

Requirements

• Degree in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, business informatics, economics, law, or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in one or more cybersecurity areas, ideally in consulting.
• Knowledge or strong interest in Zero Trust, identity and access management, cloud security, DevSecOps, AI security, product and OT security, SAP security, security monitoring, or governance, risk, and compliance.
• Fluent German at C1 level or higher and very good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel as part of the consulting role.
• Curiosity, initiative, collaborative working style, and responsible use of generative AI.
