EC 175 Rotor System Design Engineer (m/f)

Location: Marseille Area, hirify.global Helicopters Marignane site, France. The role requires travel to France and/or Germany.

What you will do

• Select rotor system architectures according to helicopter specifications and engineering requirements.
• Design rotor systems from elementary parts to assembled systems, including 3D models and detailed drawings.
• Ensure the quality and conformity of rotor system deliverables throughout development, production, entry into service, and maturity.
• Define and review rotor test requests and conclusions, supporting laboratory and ground and flight test activities.
• Manage equipment supplier activities, including design, qualification, documentation, and industrialisation issues.
• Prepare certification documentation and monitor relevant project delivery, cost, and quality indicators.

Requirements

• Five-year degree or equivalent in mechanics, design, structural dynamics, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in aeronautics.
• General knowledge of aircraft and mechanics, preferably aeronautics; flight mechanics knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience using CAD software, preferably CATIA, VoluSurf, or Composite.
• Skills in dimensioning and composite materials analysis, with the ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines and within production.
• English at B2–C1 level and fluent French are required. The position also requires readiness to travel to France and/or Germany.

Nice to have

• Flight mechanics knowledge.
• Experience with CATIA, VoluSurf, or Composite.
