EC 175 Rotor System Design Engineer (m/f) (Rotor Systems/Aeronautics): Designing and certifying EC175 helicopter rotor systems from individual components to assembled systems, with an accent on mechanical design, kinematics, composite materials, and industrial constraints. Focus on supporting laboratory and flight tests, coordinating equipment suppliers, and preparing certification documentation.
Location: Marseille Area, Helicopters Marignane site, France. The role requires travel to France and/or Germany.

What you will do
- Select rotor system architectures according to helicopter specifications and engineering requirements.
- Design rotor systems from elementary parts to assembled systems, including 3D models and detailed drawings.
- Ensure the quality and conformity of rotor system deliverables throughout development, production, entry into service, and maturity.
- Define and review rotor test requests and conclusions, supporting laboratory and ground and flight test activities.
- Manage equipment supplier activities, including design, qualification, documentation, and industrialisation issues.
- Prepare certification documentation and monitor relevant project delivery, cost, and quality indicators.
Requirements
- Five-year degree or equivalent in mechanics, design, structural dynamics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in aeronautics.
- General knowledge of aircraft and mechanics, preferably aeronautics; flight mechanics knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience using CAD software, preferably CATIA, VoluSurf, or Composite.
- Skills in dimensioning and composite materials analysis, with the ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines and within production.
- English at B2–C1 level and fluent French are required. The position also requires readiness to travel to France and/or Germany.

- Flight mechanics knowledge.
- Experience with CATIA, VoluSurf, or Composite.
