EC 175 Rotor System Design Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Marseille Area, hirify.global Helicopters Marignane, France; regular travel to France and/or Germany is required.

hirify.global Helicopters develops and manufactures helicopters and aerospace systems at its Marignane industrial site.

What you will do

• Design EC175 rotor systems from elementary parts to assembled systems, including 3D models and detailed drawings.
• Select architectures and ensure compliance with helicopter specifications, functional, kinematic, mechanical strength, and industrial constraints.
• Support rotor system activities throughout feasibility, development, production, entry into service, and maturity phases.
• Define and follow up laboratory and flight test requests, results, and conclusions.
• Manage equipment supplier activities covering design, qualification, documentation, and industrialization issues.
• Prepare technical descriptions, FMECA, DDP, test conclusions, and maintenance documents for certification approval.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in mechanics, design, structural dynamics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aeronautics and general knowledge of aircraft.
• Knowledge of mechanics, preferably aeronautics; flight mechanics knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably CATIA, VolSurf, or Composite.
• Skills in dimensioning and composite materials analysis, with the ability to work across multiple disciplines and within production.
• Advanced English at B2–C1 minimum and fluent French are required.
