VIE Test Engineer (d/f/m) for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of Aircraft Cabin Systems

Location: Hamburg Finkenwerder, Germany; mobile working is possible only by agreement with the department. The 24-month VIE assignment starts on 01.01.2027 or as soon as possible.

hirify.global Operations develops and produces civil aircraft and aircraft cabin systems in an international aerospace environment.

What you will do

• Perform EMC measurements and electrical tests for aircraft cabin systems.
• Apply aviation industry standards, including RTCA/DO-160 Sections 15–25 and ABD0100 standards.
• Document and evaluate test results.
• Optimize test procedures and measurement equipment.
• Maintain quality assurance measures and collaborate with relevant technical interfaces.

Requirements

• University degree at Master's level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• VIE eligibility: graduates aged 18–28 who are citizens of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein.
• Business-fluent English communication skills required.
• Experience in project management and quality management.
• Strong teamwork, self-motivation, adaptability, stress management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Practical experience with EMC measurements.
