Head of Compliance Operations (Crypto)

Location: Remote, with access to hubs in Dubai, Yerevan, London, and Belgrade

What you will do

• Lead daily compliance operations across AML Monitoring, KYC, Fraud Prevention, and P2P compliance.
• Own queue management, workload distribution, capacity planning, staffing, performance metrics, and quality control.
• Develop team leads and strengthen accountability, operational performance, and frontline management.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve workflows, tools, procedures, decision rules, and escalation criteria.
• Drive the adoption of AI and automation, including review of automated outcomes, errors, exceptions, and risk-based decisions.
• Partner with Product, Compliance QA, automation, compliance leadership, and customer-facing teams to balance risk controls with customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience leading compliance operations or customer-facing operations in a fintech, neobank, payment provider, or bank.
• Practical exposure to compliance, AML, fraud prevention, or customer review processes.
• Strong skills in queue management, capacity planning, staffing, performance management, quality control, and operational analytics.
• Experience managing teams through team leads and developing frontline managers.
• Ability to translate compliance requirements into clear procedures, decision rules, and actionable guidance.
• Advanced English proficiency, written and spoken, is required.
