Commissioning Superintendent Electrical (Oil & Gas)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onshore site-based role

What you will do

• Lead and monitor electrical commissioning and operation-readiness activities for sales gas and condensate areas.
• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure commissioning follows approved procedures and guidance.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, manuals, and EPC contractor documentation.
• Verify mechanical completion requirements and readiness of systems and subsystems for MC and RFSU certificate issuance.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and troubleshoot obstacles affecting progress.
• Monitor punch-list closeout and ensure completion and handover comply with contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 18 years of relevant commissioning or operation-readiness experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position on oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
• Onshore site experience in mega EPC projects.
• Experience in the GCC region is preferred.

Nice to have

• Commissioning experience on sour gas, hydrogen production, or hydrodesulfurization projects.
