Director, People Business Partner — Operations

Location: Sunnyvale, California; Bellevue, Washington; or Dallas, Texas, United States. Applicants must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements, such as being a U.S. person or being eligible to access the controlled information under applicable regulations.

Base salary: $182,000–$242,000 per year, plus potential bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as the senior People partner to Operations leadership across IT, supply chain, and data center operations.
• Build and lead a team of People Business Partners delivering consistent support across a growing organization.
• Lead People Business Partner workstreams for geographic expansion, new sites, and facilities.
• Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, headcount models, and the impact of AI and automation on roles.
• Partner with senior leaders on executive development, coaching, succession planning, talent mapping, calibration, leveling, and job architecture.
• Provide guidance on complex people matters while balancing risk, speed, and business practicality.

Requirements

• Significant HR Business Partner experience, including building and leading HRBP or People Partner teams.
• Experience supporting operations, data centers, manufacturing, logistics, retail, or field environments with mixed hourly and salaried populations.
• Experience scaling or establishing People support across new geographies, sites, or facilities.
• Ability to operate as both a strategic senior-leadership advisor and a hands-on operational partner.
• Depth in organizational design, workforce planning, talent calibration, leveling, and job architecture supported by data.
• Must satisfy applicable U.S. export-control access or authorization requirements.
