SAP Order-to-Cash Architect (AI)

Location: Remote in the U.S.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the functional and architectural direction of order-to-cash across multiple concurrent customer engagements, covering sales, pricing, availability, logistics, billing, accounts receivable, credit, tax, revenue, and collections.
• Lead discovery of ECC estates and design target states and transition paths, including brownfield conversion, selective data transition, and greenfield implementation.
• Define OTC conversion, reconciliation, cutover, data, integration, and architectural approaches while reviewing functional specifications and maintaining delivery quality.
• Analyze SD simplification items, custom code, enhancement inventories, interfaces, data quality, document flows, and process debt.
• Work with customer architects, Technical Program Managers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Tessera AI agents to resolve complex OTC questions and dependencies.
• Drive adoption, build customer-side advocates, support SAP pre-sales, and convert field expertise into product checks, patterns, rules, and accelerators.

Requirements

• 12+ years of SAP experience centered on order-to-cash, including architect-level ownership of at least two full-lifecycle implementations, conversions, or transformations.
• Deep hands-on SAP SD expertise across sales documents, item categories, copy control, pricing, availability, delivery, goods issue, billing, intercompany, returns, complaints, partner determination, and output determination.
• Delivered ECC-to-S/4HANA OTC work, including practical experience with SD simplification items, SAP Credit Management, Settlement Management, Revenue Accounting, GTS, BRF+, advanced ATP, and pricing and status model changes.
• Strong command of OTC data models and integrations, including customer master and Business Partner conversion, CVI, IDoc, EDI, enhancements, user exits, tax engines, banking, CRM, commerce, transportation, warehouse, and finance systems.
• Experience leading customer-facing architecture discussions, driving adoption after go-live, and managing several concurrent engagements with distributed delivery teams.
• Excellent business English with strong presentation and written communication skills is required. A related bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple S/4HANA transition routes, Private Cloud, Public Cloud, and RISE.
• Industry experience in high-tech, semiconductors, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or subscription and usage-based models.
• Exposure to Variant Configuration, CPQ, Transportation Management, Extended Warehouse Management, Global Trade Services, Convergent Invoicing, or SAP Subscription Billing.
• Experience with ASC 606, CVI, high-volume EDI and B2B integration, Vertex or Avalara, AI or automation tooling, SAP Activate, or relevant SAP certifications.
• Spanish, Portuguese, or German language skills.
