Full-Stack Solutions Architect (PHP/Vue.js)

Location: Remote in Brazil

What you will do

• Own solution architecture across UI, backend services, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and security.
• Define current-state, transition-state, and target-state designs while guiding modernization of PHP and Vue.js applications.
• Architect RESTful APIs using OpenAPI standards, including integration, authentication, versioning, and error-handling practices.
• Design MongoDB and Redis data, caching, performance, replication, and backup strategies.
• Design and deploy secure, scalable AWS architectures using EC2, ECS, IAM, networking, and Docker.
• Establish observability, high availability, and disaster recovery patterns; lead investigations, design reviews, and engineering mentorship.

Requirements

• Strong software or platform engineering experience with leadership in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on experience with PHP 7/8 using an MVC or singleton framework and Vue.js 2 or 3.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs according to OpenAPI standards.
• Practical experience with MongoDB and Redis, including performance, replication, and data integrity.
• Knowledge of AWS EC2, ECS, application networking, IAM, and Docker container platforms.
• Ability to document architecture and communicate trade-offs, risks, and decisions to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Agentic AI experience.
• TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent architecture and cloud certifications.
• Experience modernizing monolithic platforms into modular, API-led, containerized, or cloud-native systems.
• Performance testing or capacity engineering experience, such as JMeter.
• Application security or penetration testing exposure, such as Burp Suite.
