Application Engineer, Level 4 (Full Stack)

Location: Los Angeles or Palo Alto, United States; expected to work in an office 4+ days per week

Base salary: $133,000–$200,000 annually, $149,000–$223,000 annually, or $157,000–$235,000 annually depending on U.S. pay zone; eligible for RSUs.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate secure, scalable web applications and services for Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Own full-stack features across user experience, data models, APIs, business logic, integrations, automated testing, and observability.
• Build integrations among ERP, MRP, MES, PLM, warehouse, procurement, finance, and analytics platforms using APIs, events, and batch processing.
• Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Improve performance and resilience through monitoring, alerting, service-level objectives, capacity planning, and incident response.
• Raise engineering quality through design and code reviews, CI/CD, documentation, mentoring, and technical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of full-stack application or software engineering experience after a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent advanced-degree path.
• Production experience building, shipping, and supporting end-to-end web applications.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs with Java, Python, Go, or Node, plus relational databases and system integrations.
• Understanding of application architecture, object-oriented and domain-driven design, distributed systems, and integration patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience with finance, ERP, MRP, MES, PLM, warehouse management, procurement, or supply-chain applications.
• Experience building auditable systems with segregation of duties and SOX-aligned controls.
• Interest in responsible automation and AI-assisted capabilities for business workflows and engineering productivity.
