Senior Content Strategist and Writer

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid work with in-person responsibilities at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work full time in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $100,100–$150,000 annually, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus plan and, for certain positions, long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Partner with strategy, marketing, product, and subject matter experts to identify business challenges, audience needs, and growth opportunities.
• Develop content strategies aligned with business objectives, customer journeys, market opportunities, demand generation, and thought leadership.
• Research market trends, customer challenges, and competitive dynamics to build differentiated points of view and messaging frameworks.
• Write executive thought leadership, bylines, articles, reports, campaign messaging, web content, and other strategic assets.
• Translate complex topics into clear, compelling, audience-focused narratives across formats and channels.
• Analyze content performance and audience engagement to optimize future strategies and investments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in content strategy, thought leadership, editorial, content marketing, agency strategy, journalism, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills supported by a portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and strong execution.
• Experience turning business challenges, market dynamics, and audience insights into content strategies and narrative platforms.
• Experience creating executive-level thought leadership, long-form content, messaging frameworks, campaign narratives, and integrated content programs.
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing, demand generation, brand building, content ecosystems, and customer journeys.
• U.S. work authorization is required without employer immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
