Associate Financial Advisor

Location: On-site full-time in Kamloops, BC, Canada

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized financial solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients individually or as part of a team, with a focus on deepening client relationships.
• Provide guidance on investment, financial, and credit needs or introduce clients to specialized banking colleagues.
• Build relationships through networking, outreach, outbound calls, and community and banking centre events.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and support their use of digital banking tools.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Strong client engagement, critical thinking, goal planning, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
