Internal Auditor (Financial Services)

Location: Atlanta, United States; hybrid, with two days in the office each week

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year, plus a performance-based bonus

hirify.global operates a Group Internal Audit function providing independent assurance and advice on controls, risk management, and processes across its business units and Group functions.

What you will do

• Conduct internal audits primarily for the US Business Unit, with occasional reviews for UK, European, and Group functions.
• Lead selected audits from scoping and planning through reporting and follow-up of recommendations.
• Support other audit team members and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop pragmatic recommendations that address control issues and add value to the business.
• Contribute to audit planning, strategy, and the continued development of the US internal audit function.
• Conduct special reviews and projects supporting the Group Chief Auditor and other team members.

Requirements

• Degree qualification preferred, with CPA, CIA, CISA, professional accountancy, or audit qualification, or progress toward completion.
• Internal audit experience in financial services preferred; exceptional external audit or other-industry candidates may be considered.
• Ability to plan and deliver end-to-end audits with minimal day-to-day supervision.
• Confidence communicating difficult messages to senior stakeholders and drafting reports for Group Committee and Board audiences.
• Strong relationship-building, influencing, negotiation, communication, teamwork, commercial awareness, and audit judgment skills.
• Ability to work from the Atlanta office two days per week is required.
