Senior Policy Manager (Public Policy)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Base pay: $124,500–$168,000 per year, with potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead public policy strategy across AI, data and technology, money and financial services, or small and mid-market business policy.
• Anticipate legislative and regulatory developments and develop strategies to shape policy outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with policymakers, regulators, government agencies, trade associations, coalitions, and external stakeholders.
• Represent hirify.global at conferences, policy forums, roundtables, and other external engagements.
• Advise senior business, Product, and Technology leaders on policy risks, opportunities, and business implications.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, Data, AI, Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Corporate Affairs teams on policy positions.

Requirements

• Experience in government, Congress, a regulatory agency, technology company, trade association, think tank, or another relevant public policy environment.
• Deep expertise in AI governance, privacy and data protection, emerging technology policy, money and financial services policy, or small and mid-market business policy.
• Demonstrated success shaping policy outcomes through government advocacy, trade associations, coalitions, and third-party engagement.
• Strong political and strategic judgment, with the ability to connect policy developments to business, product, customer trust, and corporate reputation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical, economic, and policy issues clearly.
• Ability to work across policy portfolios, functions, business units, and geographies in a fast-moving technology company.
