Communications Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Victoria, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week. Relocation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $89,210–$133,810 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute employee communication initiatives aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Partner with site leadership, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the division communications team.
• Create, edit, and distribute announcements, newsletters, leadership communications, presentations, talking points, digital content, FAQs, and employee resources.
• Advise business partners on messaging strategies, communication approaches, and channel selection.
• Coordinate communication calendars, schedules, deliverables, employee events, engagement campaigns, and organizational change initiatives.
• Track communication metrics, analyze feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience creating professional communications in a corporate, manufacturing, industrial, or business environment.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling, listening, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of employee communication strategies, tools, channels, and engagement practices.
• Experience with digital communication and multimedia technologies, including Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate communication plans, analyze metrics, and recommend solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, public relations, or change communications.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operations-focused organizations.
• Experience working with senior leaders and creating visual, video, or multimedia content.
• Knowledge of communication measurement, analytics, employee engagement strategies, and organizational change initiatives.
