Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Location: On Site - Knoxville, Iowa, United States; up to 10% domestic travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Expected compensation: $164,612–$201,193, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead collaboration with Business and Enterprise Supply Chain teams to establish site strategies for cost-effective products, processes, customer service, and operational alignment.
• Lead a diversified engineering team in identifying, prioritizing, and executing improvement plans across assets, businesses, and processes.
• Champion critical CAPEX projects and develop a comprehensive site technology deployment plan focused on safety, quality, service, cost, and technology improvements.
• Lead high-impact Value Stream Improvement Plans to improve cost, yield, delivery, inventory, and other business performance metrics.
• Drive Manufacturing Engineering participation in Knoxville EHS initiatives and improve site safety and environmental performance.
• Coordinate new product introductions, development activities, and MOC/CMP processes supporting site and business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or higher from an accredited institution.
• At least seven years of combined experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality.
• At least three years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders on capital investments.
• Ability to work on site in Knoxville, Iowa, and legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a science or technical field.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma Methodology.
• Experience with web handling, coating, converting, and solution compounding.
