What you will do

• Build and lead a national asset management regulatory compliance practice serving RIAs, private fund advisers, exempt reporting advisers, and institutional investment managers.
• Define service offerings, delivery models, pricing, revenue goals, hiring plans, technology strategy, and long-term growth plans.
• Develop outsourced and co-sourced compliance offerings, regulatory filings, testing, monitoring, mock examinations, remediation, and advisory services.
• Originate business, lead client discovery, prepare proposals, negotiate fees, close engagements, and expand senior client relationships.
• Advise clients on adviser and private fund compliance, including Form ADV, Form PF, SEC examinations, disclosures, conflicts, fees, custody, cybersecurity, and regulatory filings.
• Recruit and lead the delivery team while establishing methodologies, quality controls, technology workflows, and scalable operating standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, law, or a related field.
• 15 years of investment management regulatory compliance experience, including substantial work with SEC-registered investment advisers and private fund managers.
• Deep knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, SEC rules, private fund regulations, Form ADV, and Form PF.
• Hands-on experience designing and testing compliance programs, supporting SEC examinations, and managing remediation.
• Demonstrated success building or growing a professional services business, originating advisory work, and developing referral relationships.
• Experience leading teams and managing pricing, budgeting, forecasting, staffing, utilization, realization, and profitability.
