TL;DR
Application Consulting (Application Development and Modernization): Advising customers on application transformation, requirements analysis, packaged solution selection, and application deployment with an accent on modernization, architecture, business analysis, and cloud integration. Focus on translating stakeholder needs into functional and nonfunctional specifications, solving compatibility and migration challenges, and coordinating implementation within time, cost, and quality targets.
Location: Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico; partially remote

What you will do
- Advise customers across industries on application transformation, modernization, deployment, and technology alignment.
- Assess business needs and document requirements, use cases, process flows, and functional and nonfunctional specifications.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into application and solution designs.
- Support the selection and customization of packaged applications and collaborate with architects and development teams.
- Plan design and implementation work while managing time, cost, quality, compatibility, data conversion, and training considerations.
- Help customers evaluate application options, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application development and deployment.
- 5+ years of experience in application migration and modernization.
- 5+ years of experience with application architecture, middleware, and data.
- Knowledge of BI, database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware and software, operating systems, and networking.
- Strong technical knowledge of Agile methods, service architecture, and enterprise cloud integration.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- SaaS application implementation experience with platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, or Lawson.
- Experience with application modernization tools such as CAST.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps processes.
- Experience quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies.
