General Manager - Land and Sea Systems (Defense Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, New York, with multi-site operations across Western New York and Orrville, Ohio

Salary: $220,000–$290,000 annually

What you will do

• Own business unit P&L performance, growth, profitability, operational excellence, delivery, quality, and safety.
• Lead and develop the organization, including the leadership team, succession planning, and organizational performance.
• Oversee Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Program Management, Supply Chain, Quality, and Business Development.
• Lead multi-site operations across Western New York and Orrville, Ohio.
• Develop and execute business strategy aligned with Defense Division and Space & Defense Group objectives.
• Drive customer engagement, strategic pursuits, pricing, contract negotiations, continuous improvement, and business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or another technical discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or another highly engineered industry.
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience with responsibility for business strategy, organizational performance, and people leadership.
• Experience leading a business or major operating unit with P&L accountability.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing strategic customer relationships, growth initiatives, and contract negotiations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances and access U.S. export-controlled information.
