Manufacturing Service Branch Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage staff and operations across inside sales, warehouse, inventory, seal repair, machining, assembly, CAD engineering, and procurement.
• Supervise, schedule, coach, train, and develop a diverse workforce, including cross-training and personnel actions.
• Develop and monitor procedures for order processing, inventory control, customer service, repair, machining, assembly, and training.
• Optimize inventory, capacity utilization, forecasts, backlog, production quantities, and on-time delivery.
• Manage vendor part orders, substitute part approvals, annual operating budgets, and facility and equipment maintenance.
• Analyze operational deficiencies and ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and company requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum six years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including mechanical seals or rotating equipment, inventory, material management, and distribution practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Supervisory experience managing a diverse workforce.
• Knowledge of integrated business and manufacturing systems, MRP, and continuous improvement processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and create reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with flexibility to work around business needs.
