Learning Experience Designer (EdTech)

Location: Remote from Yerevan, Armenia

What you will do

• Design and build skill-based learning programs from the ground up with subject-matter experts.
• Translate expertise into competencies, learning outcomes, curricula, lessons, practice tasks, projects, and assessments.
• Design scaffolded learning experiences that progressively develop learner independence.
• Use customer development interviews, qualitative feedback, quantitative learning data, and research to validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, subject-matter experts, Curriculum Developers, Instructors, and Designers.
• Contribute to learning design standards and best practices across curricula.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Learning Experience Designer or Instructional Designer, including building complex skill-based programs from scratch.
• English at B2 level or higher and exceptional writing skills.
• Mastery of curriculum mapping, competency-based education, instructional scaffolding, and assessment design.
• Strong collaboration and subject-matter expert interviewing skills, including the ability to extract implicit knowledge.
• Data-informed approach to iterating on educational content using qualitative feedback and quantitative performance data.

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-paced EdTech or modern product environments.
• Hands-on experience with modern learning experience design tools, LMS platforms, and user research methodologies.
• Experience developing technical or highly specialized curricula.
