Sr Manager, Quality & Reliability Engineering

Location: Hybrid in Anoka, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $123,500–$229,500 per year, with possible annual incentives.

What you will do

• Establish scalable practices for design quality, technical reviews, verification, validation, and development assurance.
• Define engineering readiness, technical maturity, evidence, and entry and exit criteria for EV, DV, PV, and launch milestones.
• Develop reliability engineering frameworks covering DFMEA, risk assessment, reliability planning, and reliability growth.
• Build engineering standards, templates, tools, metrics, and dashboards that improve product readiness and development consistency.
• Partner with Engineering, PMO, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management, Commercial, Service, and Sustaining Engineering teams.
• Coach engineering teams and build the Quality, Reliability, and Development Assurance organization across multiple business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in NPI or product development environments.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams, technical programs, or engineering process improvement initiatives.
• Experience influencing engineering organizations, implementing development frameworks, and driving adoption of new practices.
• Experience with design reviews, technical reviews, product development governance, and engineering standards.
• Ability to balance technical rigor with business speed and practicality.

Nice to have

• Experience in reliability engineering, systems engineering, verification and validation, or design quality.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, risk management, systems engineering, APQP, or Design for Six Sigma.
• Experience developing design review frameworks, product development operating models, or new organizational capabilities.
