What you will do

• Represent the owner throughout the full capital project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple CapEx projects in regulated environments, from planning and design through permitting, construction, commissioning, occupancy, and closeout.
• Control project scope, schedule, budget, quality, procurement, contracts, risk, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, utilities, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead contractor procurement, RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Prepare executive-level communications, project reports, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of project management experience; or master’s degree and 4 years; or bachelor’s degree and 6 years; or associate’s degree and 10 years; or high school diploma/GED and 12 years.
• Experience with owner’s representation or construction management and capital project management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial management, risk management, procurement, contract negotiation, construction administration, schedule management, and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, change control, project closeout, and multi-project portfolio management.
• Ability to work onsite in Thousand Oaks, California.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of construction delivery methods, building systems, entitlements, permitting, and architectural, structural, MEP, and P&ID drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, MS Project, Power BI, and cost-loaded scheduling.
• PMP or LEED AP certification.
