Apex / SQL Developer (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid, on-site 2–3 days per week in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia, USA

What you will do

• Develop and support PeopleSoft APEX solutions through hands-on APEX coding, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, views, and database objects.
• Perform SQL code reviews, database performance tuning, and data analysis.
• Assess user adoption and design coaching, training, and user-enablement interventions.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and identify PeopleSoft optimization opportunities.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for PeopleSoft APEX questions, issues, best practices, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of PeopleSoft experience and 3 years of Apex coaching experience.
• Expertise in PeopleSoft modules, Oracle APEX, coaching methodologies, user enablement, training delivery, system optimization, SQL development, and PL/SQL programming.
• Proficiency with Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Data Mover, SQR, Oracle SQL Developer, and SQL performance-tuning tools.
• Experience with Broker, REST/SOAP web services, Fluid UI development, PUM upgrades, and complex technical troubleshooting.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret security clearance and able to work on-site 2–3 days per week in Arlington, Virginia.

Nice to have

• PeopleSoft HCM or Financials certification.
• Oracle RDBMS 19c experience and advanced SQL/PL/SQL development.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft implementations for the Army or Department of Defense.
• Familiarity with OCI, related ERP platforms, or digital adoption platforms such as WalkMe and Whatfix.
