Agile Product Owner Senior (Securities Processing)

What you will do

• Execute the product vision for the Securities Processing Group and Product Management team.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, change requests, user stories, and development pipeline with Scrum and Product Management stakeholders.
• Define and maintain traceability for business requirements, scope, and solution design throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional enhancements involving regulatory and industry initiatives across product and development teams.
• Support testing, initial launches, subsequent releases, product training, and client feature reviews.
• Communicate roadmap progress and work with Professional Services and Implementation teams as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in securities back-office operations, broker-dealer operations, or relevant fintech.
• Experience with European and North American market infrastructures, including Euroclear, CREST, SIX SIS, Clearstream, DTC, CDS, NSCC, FICC, BONY, or FED.
• Strong knowledge of securities processing flows for equities and fixed income, including SWIFT MT/MX messaging in clearing and settlement.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodology and experience managing priorities across teams.
• Ability to research, analyze, and produce scope and business requirements documents while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong presentation, product demonstration, client communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of hirify.global Securities Processing operations.
• Experience with cash management, collateral management, securities financing, or corporate actions.
• Knowledge of FIX or Bloomberg XML messaging protocols.
• Understanding of central counterparty flows, Asian settlement flows, or user experience constructs.
