Company

hirify.global is an end-to-end space company developing rockets, spacecraft, precision payloads, and critical subsystems for commercial, scientific, national security, and defense missions.

What you will do

  • Lead EO/IR sensing payload and optical-system programs from concept through qualification, scalable production, and flight.
  • Own technical roadmaps, make-or-buy decisions, architecture decisions, and trade-offs involving pointing stability, jitter, sensitivity, and revisit.
  • Run multiple programs, resolve high-impact technical and schedule risks, and coordinate teams across optics, electronics, software, and data systems.
  • Manage strategic suppliers and high-stakes subcontracts while protecting schedule, margin, and mission performance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for U.S. Government tracking, warning, and surveillance customers.
  • Support proposals and technical narratives with Business Development and Strategy teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, science, or another technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of aerospace program management experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of technical programs, products, or teams from inception through delivery under pressure.
  • Experience moving hardware and software from prototype toward scalable, flight-ready production.
  • Understanding of EO/IR sensing, optical payloads, or focal plane arrays, plus technical, schedule, and supply-chain risk management.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to work in the United States under applicable ITAR requirements are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience transitioning low-volume prototypes into scalable production.
  • National Security Space or large sensing and tracking constellation experience.
  • Experience negotiating, capturing, and executing large U.S. Government contracts.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, optics, or a related field.
  • Experience with systems engineering, trade studies, interface control, requirements integrity, Jira, Confluence, and ERP.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fast-paced environment focused on hard deadlines, innovation, teamwork, and delivering complex space hardware.
  • Employee stock ownership through equity compensation and an Employee Stock Purchase Program with a 15% discount.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, including HMO, PPO, and a zero-cost HDHP option with HSA contributions.
  • Paid vacation, sick time, holidays, parental leave, disability and life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.
