Technical Application Support Analyst - jhaFileSmart (Fintech)

Location: Remote for candidates living within approximately 70 miles of the Springfield, Missouri or Monett, Missouri offices; hybrid workplace with possible onsite interview or in-person onboarding

What you will do

• Process and monitor electronic tax file submissions to the IRS.
• Review IRS acknowledgements, rejections, and accepted-with-error responses.
• Troubleshoot file validation, formatting, transmission, and processing issues.
• Analyze processing results, identify corrective actions, and document resolutions and customer communications.
• Collaborate with operations, development, product, and support teams to resolve client-impacting issues.
• Support customers during tax reporting deadlines and assist with testing for regulatory changes and system enhancements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical support, application support, implementation, or backroom bank operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak tax reporting periods when business needs require it.
• Must live within approximately 70 miles of Springfield or Monett, Missouri.

Nice to have

• Experience with XML, CSV, or file-based data processing.
• Financial services or fintech experience.
• Experience with regulatory or compliance-related products.
• Knowledge of electronic filing processes or IRS reporting requirements.
• Experience with secure file transfers and data validation.
