What you will do

• Design, implement, debug, and maintain embedded software for networking devices.
• Develop software using C/C++ and Python.
• Design and maintain graphical user interfaces that meet product requirements.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
• Analyze and resolve embedded software performance and functionality issues.

Requirements

• Current student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as Ethernet and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG and GDB, and version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, co-op, or relevant applied project experience.
• Experience with device drivers, hardware bring-up, or board validation.
• Familiarity with bootloaders and firmware update mechanisms.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, UART, or GPIO.
