Android Engineer III (Kotlin)

Location: Poland; hybrid role based at the Warsaw office

Base salary range: 212,500–287,500 PLN

What you will do

• Build customer-facing Android applications for the Google Play Store and hirify.global Bike and Tread experiences.
• Develop fitness features in Kotlin for multiple markets.
• Build scalable and responsive mobile applications.
• Translate Product, UX, and UI requirements into production code.
• Iterate on engineering processes, technology, and team communication.
• Support and help grow other engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience and 2+ years of Android development experience.
• Working knowledge of Kotlin, Git, and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of MVI and MVVM architecture patterns.
• Experience profiling Android UI, memory, and threading.
• Ability to complete complex engineering tasks independently.
• B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Applications published to the Google Play Store.
• Automation testing experience with tools such as Espresso.
• GitHub projects or open-source contributions.
• Continuous build experience in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
