Senior Android Engineer - Fintech Platform (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw or Krakow, Poland, preferably one office day per week

Building an international fintech platform from the ground up for large-scale consumer and merchant-facing solutions within the InPost ecosystem.

What you will do

• Own the architecture, module boundaries, Gradle structure, quality, performance, and delivery of the native Android platform.
• Develop Android applications with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, the View system, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Implement local persistence, encryption, authentication flows, WebView integrations, deep linking, and native-web experiences.
• Contribute to product specifications, testing, feature-flagged releases, structured event emission, and backlog shaping.
• Build automated tests and improve performance using JUnit, Espresso, Compose Testing, Android Profiler, and Perfetto.
• Support CI/CD, production incident response, crash and ANR monitoring, and post-mortem activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in native Android engineering with production applications published through Google Play.
• At least 4 years of experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and/or the Android View system.
• At least 3 years of experience with Android testing using JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM and/or MVI, dependency injection, Room, Android Keystore, Retrofit, OkHttp, and Gradle-based CI/CD.
• Experience with Android performance profiling, feature flags, structured events, automated signing, and delivery processes.
• English at a minimum B2 level and a university degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Fintech or regulated mobile application development experience.
• Experience with Google Pay, Android payment APIs, multi-module applications, or Instant Apps.
• Knowledge of WCAG or Android accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with KSP, KAPT, custom Gradle plugins, or convention plugins.
