Senior AI Applied Software Engineer (Android)

Location: Krakow, Poland. Hybrid work combining remote work with the Krakow office.

What you will do

• Maintain and extend the Android mobile product offering.
• Design and build Android applications with a strong user experience.
• Develop innovative mobile banking features and tools for customers.
• Identify tooling gaps, reduce technical debt, and improve engineering practices.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery.
• Share Android development best practices and help guide other developers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience designing and building Android applications.
• At least one Android application published on Google Play.
• Strong ownership and a practical, delivery-focused approach.
• Experience with Android mobile development and the ability to teach development best practices.
• Agile working experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with TDD and unit testing.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Bitrise or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, Gradle, Groovy, Python, or Jenkins.
