Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin)

Location: Poland, based at the Warsaw office; hybrid work

Base salary range: 264,000–376,000 PLN per year

What you will do

• Build customer-facing Android applications for Google Play, Fire TV, hirify.global Bike, and hirify.global Tread experiences.
• Develop customer features in Kotlin and deliver responsive fitness experiences across multiple markets.
• Improve engineering processes, technology, and communication within the team.
• Support and mentor mid-level and junior engineers.
• Collaborate with UX, design, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Evaluate engineering solutions, communicate trade-offs, and complete complex tasks independently.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience and 4+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong experience with Git, REST APIs, Android threading, processing, and architecture patterns including MVI and MVVM.
• Experience profiling Android UI, memory, and threading performance.
• Ability to translate Product, UX, and UI requirements into code and collaborate on design feasibility.
• Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store and building automated tests with tools such as Espresso.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, equivalent experience, and continuous build experience in an Agile environment.
