Senior Software Engineer - Rapid Development Team (AI/Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; semi-frequent local and national travel to professional offices and events, including some overnight travel.

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and develop platform capabilities and code fixes that enable AI agents to investigate and respond to security alerts.
• Evolve investigation logic and pipelines for new alert types while balancing accuracy, performance, and maintainability.
• Review AI investigations, identify improvement opportunities, and translate findings into product enhancements.
• Write investigation flows, build integrations with security tools, and resolve bugs and customer pain points.
• Partner with go-to-market and customer success teams to prioritize impactful features and technical fixes.
• Improve quality through automated testing, performance monitoring, secure coding, and participation in a periodic 24x7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining security-focused software products or large-scale security tooling.
• Strong Python development skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable, production-grade code.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and agentic workflows.
• Experience integrating with security platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, or cloud security services.
• Understanding of security operations, detection engineering, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to lead end-to-end feature development and balance rapid delivery with long-term maintainability.
