Software Engineer, Go (Edge)

What you will do

• Design and build Go services for a serverless platform, function deployment pipeline, and global control plane.
• Develop customer-facing APIs, resource lifecycles, and services that deploy and manage workloads across edge infrastructure.
• Improve developer experience through clean APIs, a CLI, predictable behavior, and useful error messages.
• Build reliable workflows for deployments, configuration, storage, and observability across multiple services and data centers.
• Work with Kubernetes and runtime infrastructure while diagnosing latency, throughput, and reliability issues.
• Build operational tooling, support safe scaling, and participate in on-call for owned systems.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go or strong experience with Rust, Java, or C++ and interest in writing Go daily.
• Solid distributed-systems knowledge, including retries, partial failures, idempotency, and production debugging.
• Experience designing APIs and resource models, working with relational databases, and building asynchronous systems.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and experience running highly available services, including on-call participation.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer tools, platforms, control planes, runtimes, or Kubernetes controllers and operators.
• Familiarity with serverless or edge-compute platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, NATS/JetStream, Knative, or Dapr.
• Experience operating software across multiple regions or data centers.
• Open-source contributions, particularly in the Go ecosystem.
