Validation Engineer (Software QA Engineer)

Location: Rehovot, Israel. The role is onsite, and relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product development teams and customers to validate requirements.
• Plan, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for new software projects.
• Design and execute code-level and system-level tests, including functional, regression, performance, and nightly testing.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline testing and define test flows for automation.
• Analyze test results, document findings, recommend corrective actions, and support debugging.
• Work with development engineers to integrate software into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or practical engineering qualification in a scientific field.
• At least 3 years of software quality assurance experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of software testing and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development life cycle.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity.
• Understanding of coverage techniques in Agile software development.
• Experience in a global company or large-scale high-tech organization.
• Familiarity with Jira and Xray.
