Community Communications Lead (Gaming)

Location: Remote, with the option to visit offices in Armenia or Cyprus

hirify.global is a game development studio within the GDEV holding, creating long-term live games including Pixel Gun 3D and Pixel Gun 2.

What you will do

• Define the communication strategy and voice for Pixel Gun 3D across social and community channels.
• Turn releases, updates, and major product changes into communication plans tied to engagement, retention, and revenue goals.
• Represent player sentiment and feedback in product planning and advise on announcements, messaging, and timing.
• Set up and manage Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, Facebook, and Discord.
• Design community programs, events, and creator partnerships, while handling sensitive situations and negative feedback.
• Build automation for publishing, monitoring, and community operations, and measure participation, sentiment, engagement, and product impact.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in community management, social media, communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of gaming audiences, community dynamics, player feedback, and sensitive community situations.
• Experience developing and executing community or social strategies that influenced engagement or business metrics.
• Hands-on experience using AI and automation to operate community and social work at scale.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and lead through ambiguity.
• Strong written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Discord administration and moderation experience.
• Experience with free-to-play mobile games, large audiences, PC or Steam releases, creators, or influencers.
• Familiarity with bots, no-code tools, scripting, social listening, and sentiment analysis.
• Familiarity with Pixel Gun 3D or shooter games.
