Working Student – Piping System, Propulsion (m/f/d)

Location: Parsdorf, Bavaria, Germany; onsite role.

What you will do

• Model secondary piping lines and sensor capillaries in 3D from fluid schematics.
• Prepare technical drawings and guide designs through the hardware approval process.
• Track manufacturing orders and external procurement of piping components.
• Perform clearance and accessibility checks within rocket engines.
• Support Engineering Change Requests for active designs and assist with general CAD tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled from the third semester onward in a bachelor's program in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on 3D modeling experience from internships, university projects, or student teams.
• Good knowledge of CAD tools, ideally Siemens NX.
• Understanding of fluid and mechanical systems and the ability to turn concepts into designs.
• Pragmatic, focused, reliable in meeting design release dates, and comfortable collaborating across teams.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on piping or tubing experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles and GD&T.
• Familiarity with rocket engine fluid schematics.
• Experience with engine instrumentation.
