Fullstack Product Engineer (React/Python)

Location: New York, hybrid

Salary: $170K–$300K plus equity

What you will do

• Own product surfaces from problem discovery and research through implementation, launch, and maintenance.
• Work with engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market partners to define product strategy and drive execution.
• Frame problems, write specifications, prioritize scope, and make product tradeoffs.
• Speak directly with customers, review support tickets, and observe product usage to guide decisions.
• Design and build complex full-stack features across frontend and backend systems.
• Improve product performance, reliability, code quality, and engineering velocity while mentoring other engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on engineering experience building products.
• Ability to own products end to end while combining product management and engineering responsibilities.
• Ability to ship quickly, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and iterate based on customer feedback.
• Strong customer orientation, empathetic communication, and ability to explain nuanced ideas clearly.
• Commitment to producing maintainable, understandable, and reliable code.
• Experience with or ability to quickly learn React, TypeScript, Python, Node, AWS, Terraform, and the listed development and observability tools.
