Associate Localization Program Manager, Tech COO (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid

Base salary: $80,900–$122,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area: $97,400–$134,000 annually.

What you will do

• Improve product localization delivery processes and upstream development efficiencies.
• Support product teams with timely, high-quality localization releases for international customers.
• Manage localization handoffs and deliveries with external vendors.
• Lead technical localization projects from scope and scheduling through execution.
• Collaborate with engineers to automate processes and integrate AI-based tooling.
• Lead localization QA, troubleshoot issues, document workflows, and educate product, engineering, and design teams on localization best practices.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on localization project or program management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in language, management, localization, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of localization and internationalization principles, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with XML, HTML, JSON, Markdown, XLIFF, version control systems such as Git, and exposure to translation management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, multitasking ability, and experience with project management methodologies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA.
