Capital Procurement Buyer (Electronics): Managing capital equipment and services procurement across North American operations with an accent on supplier sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and total cost of ownership optimization. Focus on negotiating supplier agreements, coordinating purchase orders and delivery, and improving RFQ, supplier qualification, and procurement processes.
Location: Hybrid in Wilmington, Delaware, with an additional location in Marlborough, Massachusetts; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

What you will do
- Manage sourcing and procurement for capital equipment and services across North American operations.
- Support master agreements and align procurement execution with category strategies and project requirements.
- Represent procurement on project teams and coordinate with stakeholders, Logistics, Accounts Payable, suppliers, and project teams.
- Process requisitions into purchase orders, confirm supplier receipt, expedite orders, and support timely delivery, invoicing, and closure.
- Identify and qualify suppliers, facilitate new supplier setup in SAP, and monitor supplier performance.
- Improve procurement metrics, RFQ/RFP procedures, supplier qualification workflows, and training initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in capital procurement or industrial sourcing.
- Understanding of capital procurement processes, industrial equipment sourcing, master agreements, and supplier qualification.
- Proficiency in SAP and supplier onboarding workflows.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including total cost of ownership and lifecycle cost modeling.
- U.S. work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with project management and Six Sigma methodologies.
- CPSM certification.
