Integrations Engineer (Crypto)

Location: Remote for candidates based in the United States and/or Canada; the posting also lists NY, US and Chicago, IL.

What you will do

• Lead technical implementations from contract execution through production go-live.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for CLOB FIX integrations and REST/WebSocket API workflows.
• Guide institutional clients through account funding, payouts, crypto deposits and withdrawals, RFQ, and staking integrations.
• Configure sandbox and production connections, validate order flows, test edge cases, and manage deployment readiness.
• Diagnose API errors, payload misconfigurations, protocol discrepancies, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Core Engineering while improving implementation playbooks, documentation, and automated testing tools.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in integration engineering, technical implementation, technical onboarding, solutions architecture, or a similar client-facing technical role.
• Deep experience with FIX Protocol in institutional trading, exchange, or market infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of REST, WebSockets, JSON/HTTP, and distributed architecture patterns.
• Experience with SQL and at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Java for debugging, log parsing, and test scripting.
• Experience delivering technical implementations from kickoff through production launch under tight timelines.
• Ability to lead technical sessions with client developers, system architects, and technical project managers.

Nice to have

• Experience with OMS, EMS, CLOBs, matching engines, prime brokers, proprietary trading desks, fintech brokers, or institutional crypto exchanges.
• Background in digital asset custody, crypto rails, deposit and withdrawal sweeping, yield or staking protocols, or fiat payout gateways.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for learning, log analysis, code generation, and implementation troubleshooting.
