Working Student IT Support & Operations

Location: Berlin office with 2–3 days per week on-site; hybrid work model

hirify.global is a Berlin-based job portal using technology to connect part-time workers with flexible employment opportunities and expand across European markets.

What you will do

• Provide first-level IT support through Freshservice and Slack, resolving requests or handing them off clearly.
• Prepare laptops and access for new joiners and recover hardware and access from leavers.
• Maintain accurate asset inventories and hardware stock records.
• Create guides that help colleagues resolve common IT issues independently.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a university in Germany for at least the next 12 months.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting macOS and Windows.
• Experience supporting non-technical users in IT or another service role.
• Careful handling of accounts, access, and personal data.
• Fluent English required.
• Available for 16–20 hours per week during the semester.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Exposure to Okta, Kandji, Jamf, or another MDM and ticketing systems.
• Experience building small tools with AI coding assistants and understanding their limitations.
