Junior IT Analyst (Banking)

Location: Hybrid from Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warsaw, with three days per week from the office

Salary: 250–500 PLN per day on B2B or contract of mandate

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, document, and refine business and technical requirements.
• Drive change initiatives and coordinate collaboration among business stakeholders, IT teams, development teams, and external partners.
• Create and maintain business models, data models, and solution documentation.
• Analyze system integrations, data flows, downstream systems, reporting environments, and complex datasets.
• Support development teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle and contribute to application modernization.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, robust, aligned with target architecture, and delivered within agreed scope, quality standards, and timelines.

Requirements

• Junior-level experience as an IT Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Strong requirements engineering, analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with business modeling and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, complex system architectures, and integration methods.
• Experience in the banking sector and working with large, complex datasets.
• Strong SQL skills and practical knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a Nordic bank.
• Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem and Big Data platforms.
• Understanding of reporting and downstream data-processing environments.
