Analytics Engineer

Location: London, with hybrid working and required office attendance 1–2 days per week

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year

hirify.global is expanding its data function and modernizing reporting workflows.

What you will do

• Build and maintain dbt models and Omni dashboards.
• Own analytics delivery end to end, from data sources to dashboards.
• Translate loosely defined business requests into clear data solutions.
• Investigate data issues to their root cause and fix problems at the source.
• Write tests and documentation to improve trust in reporting.
• Update and deliver regulatory reports.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Omni.
• At least 2 years of experience in an analytics or data role within a modern data stack.
• Hands-on SQL, dbt, and git experience.
• Ability to use AI to streamline work and review outputs carefully.
• Ability to explain technical data problems to non-technical colleagues and work effectively in a small team.
• Ability to commute to the London office 1–2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Degree in economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• Python or other programming language experience.
• Experience with n8n or other low-code automation tools.
• Payments, banking, fintech, or crypto domain knowledge.
• Regulatory or financial reporting experience and basic statistics knowledge.

Hiring process

• Initial screening call with the People Team.
• Technical and behavioural interview with the Head of Data, including live SQL, followed by a stakeholder session.
• Final onsite interview with the Head of Data and Chief Technology Officer.
