Data Engineer

Location: Porto, Portugal. Workplace: Hybrid.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain services within the platform.
• Develop and expand strategic data products that support business competitiveness and analytical insights.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Software Engineering teams on complex data and product challenges.
• Design and develop scalable, performance-oriented services with a strong focus on algorithmic design.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent specialized training or certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Experience building and architecting production-level data products and data engineering environments.
• Experience designing, modeling, and developing big-data ETL processes and orchestration.
• Ability to design and maintain reliable, sustainable data pipelines, with experience in CI/CD tools and cloud environments.
• Comfortable communicating in English and working in a hybrid setup in Porto, Portugal.
