Risk & Underwriting Associate Analyst (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Perform and review case-specific risk assessments within GEH to support underwriting decisions.
• Support new business quotes and renewals across the SME book of business.
• Negotiate terms with Sales and Client Management.
• Monitor account earnings plans, profitability, and portfolio performance.
• Support large group cases and manage complex schemes, including partnerships, top-ups, and combined propositions.
• Prepare monthly reports, collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, Systems, Legal Services, and Operations, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Strong numeracy and the ability to identify and analyse existing or potential problems.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant processes, procedures, systems, business, and products.
• Ability to take responsibility, adapt to problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
